Software QA Engineer

As a Software QA Engineer at Siemens, you will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, developing automated test suites, and ensuring seamless releases of software products used by global enterprises. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, creating detailed test plans and test cases, developing automated test scripts using Selenium and Python, performing API testing with Postman, and conducting database validation using SQL queries. You will work closely with development teams in an Agile environment to identify defects early, report bugs in JIRA, verify fixes, and ensure quality standards are met before each release. You will also participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to continuous improvement of both products and processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and a passion for breaking software to improve its robustness and user experience. Siemens provides exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies including digital twins, industrial IoT, and cloud-connected automation systems. You will work on products that are used in automotive, aerospace, electronics, and pharmaceutical industries for designing and manufacturing critical components.
